Owen Michaelson, a 25-year resident of Edina, is stepping up to represent the community's needs in the Minnesota House of Representatives. His history of public service and passion for effecting positive change make him an exciting candidate.
My journey towards running for the Minnesota House of Representatives is driven by a profound sense of duty
and a passionate commitment to serving the community.
While serving on the Edina School Board I
delivered common sense and balance as a strong voice for literacy and against excessive
lockdowns.
I'm eager to bring that same problem-solving knack to St. Paul, especially in crucial
areas like energy, the environment, public safety, and spending. Clearly, St. Paul needs such discretion in
light of boondoggles like the Southwest Light Rail debacle and the Feeding Our Future scandal. Such
expensive incompetence is on our dime, and we deserve better.
We can do better. I'm eager to find
common ground to deliver effective, compassionate, and frugal solutions that the people of Bloomington and
Edina expect. Together, let's craft tomorrow's solutions for an optimistic, prosperous, and just future for
the people of Bloomington and Edina, and the whole state of Minnesota.
